Sonoran Monsoon

What's that distinct pleasant aroma after the monsoon rains in the southwestern deserts of the United States?
 
Its the oldest living plant on earth, the Creosote or Greasewood bush! Known by Indigenous people to have many medicinal powers. For others it brings back memories of growing-up in or visiting our beautiful desert.
 
In 1990 I was taught a tradition to make a resin salve for skin healing properties and since 2014 I've made it into a soap to help others.
